Over time our family’s traditional Christmas tree has changed. What started as a tree of memories had been replaced by a trendier and more Pinterest-styled tree. Every year more and more of our handmade child ornaments along with family memories seem to stay in the box. To be current, I swapped out the colored lights for sleek white. We decided a big tree was best, so we searched for the tallest tree that we could find. The souvenir ornaments from great family trips stayed packed. Not to mention how the antique ornaments from relatives stayed stored because they didn’t “fit in” anymore. The idea of having just one tree changed to more trees complete with different themes. My simple Christmas tree slowly drifted away.

Sand art is a thing at Bandon Beach, Oregon. I told this man I loved his scripture in the sand, and he simply said, “People just need to get still enough to hear God.” He speaks, guides, and directs; you just have to get quiet enough to hear Him.
If you could sit with anyone on this park bench, who would you chose? I would choose Jesus and He is there! The great news is Jesus is there on that bench and everywhere, just talk to Him and trust He has the best plan for you.
Lord, may all of my granddaughters' hands be a light and a guide to share Jesus with all whom they meet in their long and blessed lives following you, Jesus! May You establish the work of their hands and guide them through to your plan always. This is a grandma’s sincere prayer and heart.
So thankful for the gift of new life in my family. God, you are so good all the time! Your ways are perfect!
Our souls need God; we are wired that way by our Creator. Nothing else satisfies; only Jesus!
Even when things don’t make sense and you wonder why something happened, trust in the fact that Jesus works all things together for good. There is freedom in this Bible scripture.
The signs and wonders of Jesus’ miracles are everywhere. Don’t miss them. Keep your eyes open and look up to catch a glimpse of God’s awe. These mama turtles come back to the same beach every year to lay their eggs after traveling hundreds of miles. Jesus cares for the birds of the air, the turtles, and all living things. You are made in God’s image. He loves every part of you, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Cling to Him; He is there with open arms for you.
When a couple gets married, I have some marriage advice for every couple. Here is the secret to marriage success. These priorities must stay in this order: 1-God 2-Spouse 3-Children 4-Job 5- Hobby.
Keep this order, and you will have a long and blessed marriage.
Run to God who keeps covenant and steadfast love. He has been there for you since the beginning of time. He is the same God in the Old Testament, New Testament and today!
In your life, there is light and darkness. The light is Jesus and faith in Him. The dark is evil and the enemy. Seek Jesus in your life, and the light will overtake the darkness. There is complete freedom in this.
A farmer went out to sow his seeds, some seeds fell along the path, the birds came and ate it. Some fell on rocky places, where there wasn’t much soil. It sprang quickly but when the sun came up, it was scorched. Other seed fell among thorns and was choked out. Some seeds fell on good soil where a huge crop was produced. Hear Jesus, change your life and be the rich soil where his blessings can abound.
It says in the Bible, “Do Not be Afraid” 365 times. There are 365 days in a year. If this is not a reminder to not have fear, I don’t know what is! Be NOT Afraid! Trust Jesus and let Him take care of your situation.
Nothing fills you like God in your life. Money, fame, success, and material things will satisfy for a short time, but then lead you into wanting more. Seek Jesus, it’s the only path to quench your thirst.
Know that every day he is waiting for you to seek him. Ask him to be present in your life today.
Enter his gates with Thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.

Ask God anything. There is nothing too big or too small for Him. He hears you, then let Him answer in His perfect will.
When chapters open and close, be excited to see what God is going to do in this next stage.
Be washed in living water. Jesus will refresh, cleanse, and wash you clean. Run to the Living Water in Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
