Trust Your Instincts
Over the years, many have heard the term, “women’s intuition.” It generally refers to a woman’s ability to know something without ever being told. Even in ancient Greece, a society that was controlled by men, history states that women were sought out for their council and advice. Many doctors would also acknowledge that listening to a mom’s intuition can lead to a clearer prognosis for a sick child.
Jaime J. from Utah states, “There is so much great information out there and it’s important to research. However, at the end of the day, trust your gut. Every baby is different. Sometimes you just need to do what you feel is right.”
So, remember this, you know your child better than anyone. If something does not sit right in your soul, ask more questions, seek more answers, and pray until you finally receive your peace about the situation.
For a Christian woman, there is no confusion as to the origin of a “women’s intuition.” This comes from the Holy Spirit, that is available to all of us, if we ask.
John 14:16 NIV- “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever – the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.”
