One Minute Mama - Prayers

Many would agree that some kind of bedtime routine is very important for our little ones to know that it’s time to go to bed. Every family has a system that works for them. Our routine consisted of dinner, bath, books and then finally, bed. However, before the light was turned off and my husband and I left the room, we would say some sweet prayers together, with them. Our purpose was to audibly articulate our need for God’s intervention in our own lives, through His Word. Our prayers for the day, gave us peace, as we prepared our children for sweet sleep with God’s promises for their future.

“For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

Jennifer Bosma

I’m a wife of 37 years, a mom to three grown daughters, and a grandma to my five precious granddaughters. I love Jesus and want to share all I can with young Moms about Him. He is the secret to my family’s success hands-down, and it’s my passion to teach this to you through my Christian children’s books, Front Parking Spot podcast, and speaking engagements.

Teaching is at my core. I was an elementary education teacher for 23 years, so when I have the opportunity to do an author visit, it is a full engagement opportunity for everyone in the classroom.

My goal in what I do each day is to inspire Moms worldwide to reach the potential that God has entrusted to them within themselves and their families.
