Easter Fun and Bringing It Back to Jesus

One Minute Mama – Easter Fun and Bringing it Back to Jesus

Spring is a happy time filled with new life, warmth and Easter. It is easy to celebrate with activities involving bunnies, egg hunts, and flowers, just to name a few. But, what if you take the symbols for Easter and bounce it back to Jesus? Try using the acronym of BIBLE to teach your kids the real meaning of Easter.

I hope these little conversations help to make Jesus the focus of this Easter for you and your family.

Matthew 28 : 6- “He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”

Lamb- A lamb is innocent and gentle. The message to share is, “Jesus is the Lamb of God who died for you and me. He wants to be a part of your life and live in your heart!”

Easter Eggs- Just like the tomb couldn’t keep Jesus, explain, “Eggs represent how Jesus broke free from the tomb and rose on the 3rd day, just as He said He would!”
