As moms we have all heard our children repeat something, exactly as we have said it. Depending on their delivery, it can either be extremely embarrassing, humbling or edifying.
In Ephesians 4:29, it says, “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”
Whether you realize it or not, be cautious about the words you speak around your children. They hear your words, can sense what you really feel inside and their heart gateway is opened to your opinions, whether positive or negative.
Always remember, your children WILL repeat what you say, so make sure it is something you would want them to share with the world. There will be no doubt where it was learned.
